Research will be based on optimising the search of a database of 3D objects, to enhance extraction of feature values that characterise human organs and human tissue. We will also look at the use of photometric stereo techniques for 3D-surface and colour reconstruction, of particalular relevance to representation of human faces for plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery.
