The various taught MSc programmes are intended to supplement a previous first degree education in Electronic Engineering or a related subject. They provide a specialised knowledge and training beyond that normally encountered in a first degree programme.
On successful completion of the programme the student will have gained a deeper understanding of the principles and practice of the various topics, and from the project will have demonstrated his/ her ability to perform individual research and to have presented this material to a wider audience.
Each programme comprises eight taught modules (some core, some options chosen from a list) together with an individual project which may be done either within a research group in the University, in industry, or as part of a European exchange scheme. Individual programmes are referred to as pathways - just click on the link for full details.
